Mandarin, Stevia, and Chai Tea Today

Keeping with our Chai Tea Friday theme we decided to mix it up a little bit and added some fresh mandarin peel and stevia leaf to our chai tea blend.
We have been amazed by the flavor of our chai tea blend and are looking forward to tasting how the mandarin enhances it with its vibrant citrus fruitiness.

If you have had stevia leaf extract and found it too sweet you will be pleased that using the leaf itself lends its sweetness to your tea but is not as overpowering as the extract.  We have used this a few times with other teas and our herbal infusions and it has become our favorite replacement for sugar and other sweeteners for brewed beverages.
